Today has been a day of ideas. Looking on Pinterest and in Hobby Lobby - I was overwhelmed with ideas of all the things I want to make. Since I'm open to making a variety of DIY crafts and home decor - I have a LOT of different Pinterest boards already full of ideas that I am adding even more to based on what I think might sell well. I've been amazed what I am willing to try when I'm not making it for myself or my home.
Right now I am trying to focus on ideas for December - February, so mainly Christmas, Winter, and Valentines. However, when Hobby Lobby Fall crafts are 75% off and Fall tableware is 50% off, I feel the need to pick some up to be ready to make things for September 2024. That said, quite a bit of the "fall" crafts and/or tableware I got I will repurpose and they will end up having nothing to do with fall. For example, they had fall lazy susans on sale 50% off, so I picked up four and have plans to paint them for different seasons/holidays.
I am also trying to get my craft room (which is really the great room of our home) picked up and organized so that I know what products I have vs. what I need to get. However, if your craft room is anything like mine - it is a daunting and seemingly insurmountable task to get everything sorted and in it's spot. Just like I have so many ideas of what to make, I also have so many ideas on how to sort what I already own, and choosing one while sorting proved difficult this evening.
